Daily Permit is $5.00 per car and permits must be purchased at the various parking kiosks OCT. 12 ALERT - There has been some confusion regarding access to the Soccer Park for this upcoming weekend due to a Half-Marathon Event being held on Saturday morning, Oct. 12. Signs were posted on Alfred Harrell Highway indicating that the road would be closed. We have been able to clarify the situation with the County of Kern and are able to inform you of the following: All games at the Soccer Park will be played as scheduled on Saturday. Access to the Soccer Park on Alfred Harrell Highway will be limited to one direction. Alfred Harrell Highway coming East from Panorama Drive/Mt. Vernon Ave will be closed on Saturday morning. All Soccer Park users should use CA State Route 178, exit at Alfred Harrell Highway, and proceed North, then West. The Soccer Park entrance is just past the California Living Museum. Alfred Harrell Highway will be closed at the eastern end of Hart Park, so those exiting the Soccer Park should turn left onto Alfred Harrell Highway. Normal traffic flow should resume by roughly 11:00 am on Saturday morning. There are no closures on Sunday. We recommend that you allow a few extra minutes for entrance and parking time, since the limited traffic flow may result in slower access time to the Soccer Park.
